Learning Updates
Literacy: This week, we completed three more writing tasks. One was a free choice story writing, one was their own Who Would Win that required research on two animals, and the last one was a visual journal page with text features about themselves, like illustrations, photographs, timelines, titles...etc.
Math: We focused on reviewing this past week. The skills included counting money, addition, subtraction and place value! Please keep practicing. I added a couple of sheets you could print and work on.
Social Studies: Grade 3s learned about charities and how to be an active citizen! We completed a check in on Google Forms and students did so well!
Field Study Friday: Students went outside in the beautiful weather and used our measurement skills to measure items in nature, like dandelions, grass, sticks and pinecones.
