Learning Updates
Literacy: This week, we wrote a persuasive letter to Mrs. Brinson. Our focus this week was editing and revising our rough drafts to make a good copy. We also practiced vocabulary words using a Frayer Model, and practiced grammar using sentence scramblers.
Math: We learned about remainders and what that means in division. Below is a good video about this! Students also engaged in lots of practice through games and activities. We then ended the week with a Show What You Know.
Science: We did our Earth Systems Show What You Know this week. Then we continued our research project, focusing on using our reading, questioning, listening, and note taking skills.
