June 22-26 Weekly Updates

Student Highlights

Aaliyah said: On Monday, in Art, we made a sun and a moon with one circle and that's it.

Mila said: On Monday, we did technology and we did a new coding game called LightBot and after thirty minutes, we could switch to Scratch Junior or stay in LightBot. I did the thirty minutes of LightBot and then I switched and switched again and I got to Level Three out of five. 

Yoon said: On Wednesday, we had a Play Day which we had lots of playing stations and some of them were very fun. This is the name of some stations, we had Spin the Bat, Gaga Ball, Nine Squares, and volleyball too. 

Ayla said: On Wednesday, we had a Play Day and the only person I hang out with is Harlyn and the only game we played were Nine Squares and we also did tattoos. Harlyn got four and I got two.

Aram said: On Wednesday, during recess, Idres told me that I could be goalie in soccer because Neepseese wasn't playing. Then after, Salaar was a player and Idres said to me I could switch with Salaar. My team was Eli, Yoon and Guntaaj versus only Idres. Idres had 15 points and we had nine. I said to Idres, "Tomorrow we will make a comeback." And Yoon scored the weakest goal. 

Neepseese said: Today on Thursday, we did a movie in different classrooms and I chose to do Hoppers in Mrs. Schu's class. 

Emma said: On Thursday, we made squishmallows and Ms. Qi printed paper that you could put designs and you could make your own plushies. Then she taped them together and then I put in cotton balls. We get to bring it home. 

Idres said: Today (Thursday), we had the last Gaga Ball in Grade 3. 

Charvi said: On Thursday, we made squishmallows and Ms. Qi printed out two photos. One is the front and the other is the back side. We had to draw a design and then Ms. Qi called us to add cotton balls. Then she taped it all together to make squishmallows.
