Learning Updates
Literacy: This week, students began writing their Diary of an Animal book. It connects both English Language Arts and Science. We are using our information about animals and food chains to make it creative and interesting! The focus this week was beginning a new "diary entry" in an interesting and new way.
Math: We started a new topic called measurement! Students learned about the standard measurement and they practice measuring using various tools. We also learned how to measure the perimeter of polygons.
Science: Grade 3s completed their Indigenous Medicine Wheel/Season Art. We are planning for next week, where we will write down notes about how Indigenous peoples live and learn on the land with plants and animals.
