Important Reminders
1. We have a five full days of school next week!

Learning Updates
Literacy: Grade 3s started learning cursive writing! We wrote about what we did over the strike. We also played a game called Roll a Monster and had to describe our monsters using adjectives, like "three eyes, orange fur, red face".
Math: Students focused on comparing numbers and ordering them on a number. We played lots of games to practice our skills!
Art: Grade 3 students did a Halloween/Fall art and it was a Zentangle Art. We used black markers to trace a Maple leaf and drew patterns in the different areas.
Student Highlights
Ayla said: On Thursday, we did Art with a maple leaf and it was Zentangle Art. On Friday, we did Makerspace in Ms. Muma's class and we played Lego and I built a treehouse and Eileen was playing with me.
Salaar said: On October 30, in gym, we played a Halloween game and there were guards in the middle, and you had to steal candy.
Ryker said: We made monsters and we wrote about what they looked like. We used adjectives to write about them. On October 31, I coloured in Ms. Schumacher's class and it was Halloween related.
Idres said: We did cursive writing. We did a, d, g and q. In Social Studies, we watched two more Sacred Law videos. They were the beaver (wisdom) and wolf (humility).
Aaliyah said: On Wednesday, in Social Studies, we learned about the Seven Sacred Laws. We learned about the bear (courage) and the eagle (love).
Yui said: On Thursday in the morning, we did a Art that is a leaf art.
Aram said: On Thursday at recess, me, William and Mila, Ayla, Ryker and Neepseese and Xavier played tag. If you get tagged, then your teammate with you are it. And if you get tagged and also if you're still it, and you say to another person that's not it, and you tag them and you're out of the game.
Rayan said: On Friday, we had Makerspace in Ms. Muma's class.
Emma said: We did a Math game and we had partners for it. We had to roll a dice and we had little counters, and a math chart. If we had a 3 numbers that goes 10 more and 3 numbers that goes 10 less.
Anshu said: On Friday, we did Mustard Must Dos.
Oleg said: On Friday, we wore costumes and we did Makerspace.
Guntaaj said: On Friday, we had Fun Friday and I played with Lego and Kain accidentally broke my house. But I still got to watch a Magic School Bus thing.
